TASTING NOTES
The season began with a warm, early spring that encouraged strong flowering and generous fruit set. Careful vineyard work, including crop thinning, ensured balance across  the blocks.

A close up of sun reflecting off the cool stream of water on the river banks.
A cooler midsummer slowed ripening, extending  hang-time and enhancing flavour development. By March, a stretch of settled sunshine delivered ideal conditions  for the final ripening phase. Harvest began on 22 March  and wrapped up just before April rains, with fruit showing exceptional freshness, concentration, and aromatic purity — hallmarks of a classic Marlborough vintage.
Three valleys.
Three voices.
One story of Marlborough told in light, wind, and soil.
VALLEY OF ORIGIN
Central Wairau (39%), Southern Valleys (33%), Coastal Awatere (28%).

From the sun-struck stones of Rapaura, where warmth and wind craft Sauvignon Blanc with electric energy and mineral precision — to the wild, salt-kissed edges of our coastal Awatere site, where cold nights and ocean air carve purity, tension, and a whisper of sea spray — to the calm, clay-rich slopes of Fairhall, where slower ripening draws out depth, texture, and quiet grace.
Vineyard in the Marlborough region.
Together, these vineyards shape our wines that speak of place - vibrant, layered, and alive with the rhythm of Marlborough itself.

WINEMAKING
The fruit was de-stemmed, lightly pressed with minimal
skin contact, and the clear juice cold-settled before
a cool stainless-steel fermentation with neutral yeasts to showcase pure, vibrant fruit expression.
The wine  was then rested on its fine lees, adding texture,  subtle savoury complexity, and enhanced palate weight.

Bottled 4 September 2025.

CALIFORNIA
CABERNET
SAUVIGNON 2024
Bold and elegant, with lifted aromas of black cherry, sugar plum, and mission fig, layered with notes of cedar, dried tobacco, and a touch of vanilla oak. The palate is rich yet refined, with dark fruit depth, supple tannins, and a long, savoury finish.
